Fantabulous post guys! I really loved the conversation idea, it works very well. The thing that I have experienced in my relationship is that guys really love love love a rational fix to a problem. Us girls sometimes analyze from every angle until we are sure we have things figured out. Men like to sometimes get a solution right away!

I think that's a good point you make in the last paragraph. What if some children have been promised another marshmallow and had their parents forget to give it to them? Maybe they were acting according to previous experiences.
